LovebySusie is an enchanting, elegant collection of bridal wear, individually designed and handmade to perfection by Edinburgh designer Susie McKenzie.

Susie works intimately with clients to create bespoke gowns for brides, bridesmaids and flowergirls. Combining luxurious chiffon, silk, satin and organza with vintage lace, hand beading, corsetry and appliqué, Susie's designs are eminently feminine and truly unique.

The Beginning.......

Born in Edinburgh, Susie completed a BA(hons) Degree at Edinburgh College of Art, followed by a M.Sc. in Fashion Marketing at Glasgow Caledonian University. This led to a move to London and an exciting and inspriring career in Buying for the highly successful luxury high street brand Coast. During this time, Susie gained vast knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the design, construction and production of exquisite, high quality garments. After six years in London Susie decided it was time to return home to Edinburgh. Arriving at bridal design through a desire for inspiriting change, here Susie would fulfill her own creative aspirations, whilst rekindling a love affair between the elements of cloth, elegance, adornement and the female form, seemingly absent from modern bridal design.
