LovebySusie Bridal Couture is an enchanting, elegant collection of bridalwear, lingerie and accessories, individually designed and handmade to perfection by designer Susie McKenzie.

Susie works intimately with clients to create bespoke gowns for brides to be. Combining luxurious chiffon, silk, satin, georgette and organza with vintage lace, hand beading, corsetry and appliqué, Susie's designs are eminently feminine and truly unique.

Susie will guide you through the consultation, filling you with inspiration and ideas. Susie has amazing silk fabric collections in a stunning array of colours and qualities to choose from, rare vintage lace and trimmings, delicate French chantilly laces, embroidery and beading samples which can all help to inspire, realise and create your perfect gown.

At the initial consultation Susie will listen to your ideas and consider carefully the venue and mood of your wedding alongside your preferences for style, fit and fabric. From the outset each client will be involved in the design and evolution of their dress. Susie will sketch you ideas and suggest fabric samples to work towards a final design and costing. Susie's love of beautiful fabrics and vintage couture means she works closely with specialised suppliers in order to source the ideal fabric for each dress. Once the style is confirmed a calico toile is then made and used as a mock-up to perfect the fit and refine the style on the clients figure.

If you are interested in booking a consultation please note that Susie must be booked a minimum of six months in advance of the wedding date and each gown will needapproximately three fittings. Susie however can sometimes accept late bookings under six months but a late booking charge would apply.
